Anyone? Any ideas why my display is reading this? I have over 1000 nickle credits and it's reading this. Reset does nothing to change the way the display is reading.

push the red button and get into the diagnostic tests,  run the 16 segment display test, it should cycle through  all the numbers and then the letters and then some symbols, this will tell you  what the display is actually reading.

the only item that transfers that data from the main board to the display is the flat gray ribbon cable, check that it is plugged in correctly and there are no bent pins, if all other displays are what they should be, look for a tear or pinched wires where that cable comes in contact with the door hinge.

Hope this helps

I checked alot of things out today with no success. The ribbon cable is ok I checked every pin and is fine. Also removed the display board, checked for cold solder joints and bent pins in that are soldered to the display board and MPU. The machine cycles through all the test cycles. I did notice the first LED display is dead on the far left. There is only 10 working and should be 11. Also next to the credits (OP) is being displayed there. When I first got this machine a few weeks ago and powered it up, the display was working just fine and now it isn't. I have checked everything I know I could check. Attached is a photo I took tonight, displaying OOR OPEN when it should read DOOR OPEN
