Changing one of my 3 reel, 1 line, 3 credit game to a 3 reel, 5 line, 75 credit game and am getting the above error upon initialization. Any ideas?

Thanks,

David

You have a 10 button deck?

I do not, I only thought that was needed for a 5 reel/9line game.

well the reel glass says "play 75 credits" how are you supposed to play 75 credits from a 3 reel/5 line game? The 5 line/3 reel games that I have played at the casino have always had a standard deck, not a 10 button deck. Possibly in the keychip set up mode, I can change it to a 5 credit game rather than a 75 credit?

I suspect your reel glass 75 credit insert is wrong but it is possible to play 75 credits with a 5 liner game.
What you're doing at "Max" bet is betting 15 credits per line.
If this is possible, then you're multiplying any single line win by 15 times.

But if it's not finding the 10 button IO card I don't know that he can access the programming to make max bet per line changes or that he could make those particular changes anyway. Might be easier to find a 5 credit max bet SB chip for whatever title he's using rather than swap to a 10 button deck

I have another ten button deck that I will just swap out and also add the I/O board for the ten button deck. Thanks for the input.

ok, I put the ten button deck on along with the I/O boards on the inside of the door. The game is working and paying out correctly but there is just one problem. On certain pays, it pays out the correct amount, but the reels are lit in the wrong sequence. For example, if I have a pay on the 4th line (diagonal top left to bottom right) it will light up the reels for the 5th line pay (diagonal bottom left to top right) Any ideas as to what may be wrong?

Thanks,

David

Assuming you have the correct strips with the correct SB chip, it sounds like your strips are installed in the wrong order.

It is a play 75 credits max game, 15 per line, with jackpot of 40,000. My SB is SB100463, my Game 1 and 2 chips are 365s. My reel strips are as follows:

Reel 1 (85872600)
Reel 2 (85872700)
Reel 3 (85872900)

The info that I found shows that it is for a 3 reel, 5 line, 5 credit machine, so why is it that I can play 15 per line?

Thanks,

David

thank you that corrected the problem. Does that have to be done on any game that you swap from being a 3 reel, 1 line to a 3 reel, 5 line?

Well it was a machine that had always been a 3 reel, 1 line before I converted it to the 5 line, so it must have been that way when I got it. Thanks again for you help.
