Hi all.

I've been unpluged from the forum lately.... Sorry for that.  Very busy the last year and a half.

The following are notes I took this afternoon at the casino after finding one of my babies with "Door Open C" message on the screen....  It didn't clear,  and prevented the machine from going into play.

I know for sure I'll forget this important piece of tip eventually, and maybe the same will happen to other fellow members, so here we have gents, this is how to resolve the Infamous and Unclearable Door Open Messages.

Of course -->  This could not be possible without the assitance of Sir IGT, also know as Mr. Ozzy, who explained me today for "Nth" time were these little bastards are (the jumpers to solve each problem)

DOOR OPEN M -->  Main Door

Connector located in the main door as showed on the picture attached --> should be shorted.

This one is related to Main Door pulse visible in the Processor Board Input/Output Test found in Diagnostig Menu --> This I/O state should be flickering (1 and 0) after pulsing both white switches located in cabinet to consider it normal.  If frozen in 1 or 0 when both cherry switches are pressed, then something is wrong.

If shorting does not work, then keep this jumper shorted and perform a RAM Clear using the respective Key Chip of your game version.

After RAM Clearing and Key Chiping the machine, it Door Open M  message should behave normal (disapearing after closing the Main Door)
