Hello Universal Fans

JBShocks asked me for some info on the Universals we have over here (specifically the processor board) so here is a pic.

From posts by Uniman it seems that US Uni's use a 94014 Main 3 or 4 processor and ours a 94014 Main5. I dont recall ever seeing main 3 or 4 boards over here.
Back in the 8116 era Universal had an almost 100% market share in South Africa. The Ultra's can still be found in smaller SA casinos although they are beieng phased out due to legislatory issues. Tons of spares in workshops across SA. Ours have an additional comms box behind the reels which makes it SAS capable. Most of the machines in South Africa operate on smart cards /BV's.

Thanks for posting.  ECN1 and 2 look the same though alignment pin between them is not on the sunrise board.  Since the pin outs match I would think that one of these could work in an ultra if we can ever figure out how to get them into the US.  The only issue that would need to be solved is the ultras voltage of 30v or 32v (would have to look it up) vs the sunrise at 24v but I am guessing that could be resolved with a voltage regulator.  Just to have them side by side here is a main 3.

Thanks TZ!!
Looks like a lot of changes from MAIN 4 to MAIN 5. The sound area looks totally redone.
