My machine works great , i put a coin in and it accepts it just fine , after playing for a short time then it will not take the coin, it falls right thru and when i open the door and then close it it will work fine for a short time and the same thing happens so can someone tell me what this could be

I would start with the obvious of cleaning the "eyes" that the coin passes thru and also making sure the plugs are tight to them and the coin comparitor.  From there is there any chance you are getting too many coins in the machine--ie its at its max credits?  That would also cause that.  Beyond that I cannot think of a simple fix other than trying a new coin comparitor or a new set of those "eyes" the coin passes thru.  Its a pretty simple system, not that many parts in the coin system (if that is the problem).
