Might be your door IO card(s) aren't plugged in tight. Snug them down with the machine turned off and try again. Check all cables and fittings to those displays also

S2000's do that when they think the vfd is down, or if the 7 segment has power but no signal.

The doohickey with a handle mounted to your inside door plate. Only mess with it while the machine is turned off. Check all your cable connections too

The dot matrix display and the VFD (vacuum florescent display) are the same thing. Its the blue display. They however are not controlled by the IO cards, that's senet system stuff. The VFD is a netplex device. There are a few common problems with the VFD: sometimes some of the solder joints can lift or the colorful ribbon cable could be lose.

Oh yes there is a later version with no ribbon cable. If the error is gone I wouldn't worry about it to much. The most common failure I have seen is there is a group of three legs on the display on the end that have a solder joint that fails. if you feel so inclined you can remove the display (2 screws for the cover and 2 for the display if I remember correctly  Nerd) and check the connections. But as long as it continues to work I would leave well enough alone as they say.

Very easy to replace in most cases just 4 screws and a couple of wire connections. S2000 enhanced?
