s2000 HELP payout can it be stopped

have a s2000 tabasco multi denomination machine with 1000 credits in it, wife hit the cash out button by mistake, and the hopper is paying out, but its doing it 0.01 at a time, even though its a .25 cent and up machine. i,ll be loading the hopper till new years at that rate, is there some way to cancel the payout, so i can get in and shut off hopper pay.

Yes, Do a RAM clear on it. Then set your hopper so it wont payout more than 100 coins or so. Small wins will pay, big ones will need to be cleared by hand (key).Allow the wins to go to "Credit", but requests for payouts will be limited to the amount of coins you specify....

so do do a ram clear i will need to get a ram clear chip and installit.

I have a Tabasco machine also, what is the ram clear chip and what is it's purpose. What are the benefits and how much are they.

For that hopper payout thing, if you don't have a clear chip I think you can turn the machine off, pull the MPU tray out and swap the ram chips into each others sockets. Although I would suggest, when you get a clear chip, to reset your accounting denom to $0.25

As far as changing hopper limits, you don't need a clear chip, you just need 0 credits on the machine and access to the menus using the white button on the front of the MPU

Clear chips are generally only used when you need to change the accounting denom on the machine. They erase all play history and machine settings. After a clear you will then need a set chip to reset the game for play. Post a WTB in the classifieds here or contact one of the vendors. Probably in the neighborhood of $20 per chip
