Prices vary Staz, but the dealers get much better pricing than the once a year shippers like you and me. Having them shipped to me from Dick at Phoenix slots or Worldwide Gaming in Minnesota has never cost more than $150 to $175, but they getbulk pricing or whatever it's called and have accounts with the shippers

I bought 4 machines out of California last summer and it was only $125 per machine to have them shipping to my house. With fuel cost rising I would bet it would be more now..

Quantity shipping makes a big difference....as an example...I can ship one machine on a pallet to TX for about $160 or CA for about $250.  But using the same trucking company, when I shipped 16 to 20 machines, the price drops to about $90 a machine to TX and $130 a machine to CA.  And yes, freight has shot up quite a bit in the last 6 months.  Also consider that CHEAP is not always a good idea.  You can get caught up on saving $30 and end up with a pile of parts in the end.  There are a few companies I would not go near.  I've had the best success with companies like RL and Vitran with only 3 damaged machines out of about 100 in the past year.

Another site to check is quote4freight.com.     We've had decent pricing with them on single machines. Saves some time since you can see everyone's rates there. It's similiar to Travelocity or Hotwire is for travel. Then if you see a good rate, try contacting the carrier direct, sometimes it's cheaper, if it's higher, then book it thru quote4freight.
