Does anyone know if the Ebay seller 'discountslotparts' is on NLG?  They mostly have DBV's for sale so I thought I'd try checking in this forum.

I just discovered the DBV-200's I bought from them on Ebay were sadly not as pictured.  The ad clearly showed v2.60 chips in them but what I got was v2.32 Sad

I messaged them through Ebay, but wanted to see if they frequented here and what type of reputation they have for resolving issues.

Thanks.

I have the chips if you need them...that is if they do not help you. Hope the DBV are chip type and not flash.

They are the DIP type at least.  In the email I sent through Ebay I requested if they could just send me the proper chips rather than having to do a refund.

After swapping the ROM's do you have to use the calibration paper or do anything else?  Or is it just a matter of doing a straight ROM swap.

Just swap the roms is all you need to do. How many did you get that are wrong? And do you know how to tell if they are flash or dip?? Stupid question but have to ask.
