I know i asked a lot of questions,
Here goes,
What are the differences between Bill Validations?
I see WBA-11, 12-22, 13/23.
I have a S2000,  D.D. Haywire, 10/04, with a Wba12-SS. It works perfectly & will take everything except $2.00 bills.

What would be the newest BVD out there for home use?

thanks for the help.

Actually the 12/13 head are the same.
The software for the Head is actually in the transport 12 is Flash version. 13 is EPROM
Take your transport out and look at it.
if it has a EPROM in a socket. you actually have a WBA 13
From I what I remember the $2 bill is not usable in the DBV or WBA

Wba 10 and 11 are the older "one way acceptance BVs with the 10 being a flash version and the 11 being the eprom version.  The wba 12 and 13 take bills 4 ways and as foster says the 12 is flash and the 13 is eprom.  The heads for all of these are interchangeable and the differences lie in the transport (the part that houses the eprom or flash chip, motors etc.).  Your wba12ss sounds like it is working fine, accepting all bills that any acceptor will accept (I'm not aware of any that accept a $2 bill) so why spend a few hundred to upgrade to a UBA when you don't need it.

Thanks,
Wayne

He could put a Mars cashflow BV in that s2000 and set it to take $2 bills, just need the conversion kit and the programming paper for the head.

You will have to check with one of the vendors that flashes them.  I am in Canada so the shipping would be too costly.

Thanks,
