Can you tell me what type of bulb to use on backlite reels on a 5 reel game the bulbs say G12 and are 14volt bulbs what does that translate into in real bulbs?  Thanks

It would translate that you need a 14V ( T 3 1/4 wedge base )   I think most are using a 591   http://na.suzohapp.com/lighting/91101800.htm  I think the last ones I bought were 658.  ( I'm cheap ) What ever you buy, don't get LED's. 

If you think about it, unless you have a 3, 5, 9 line or a Wild Cheery that pays above and below the pay line, there is no need to replace the 6 bulbs above and 6 below the pay line. Just a added expense for 12 bulbs that are not used. I guess with a 5 reel your gonna need all of them.

I got a email telling me I'm all FU ( is that any supprise ) the correct bulb is a XE359

These are the older reels,  I put the Xenon bulbs in the machine they do not work they will not come on at all so those must not be the correct bulbs.  I am not really sure what is correct.

I tried to use Xenon bulbs but they would not work,  I had some 658s they work but are not very birght compared to the others, any ideas?
