Should this jumper where the coin harness goes on a s2000 make the coin in jam go away. It does not on this machine.

you need that jumper whe the slot is set to "coinless" and you do not have a coin comparator installed.  Have you checked door i/o board?

I have replaced the door I/o . Im getting the coin in jam an trying to trouble shoot the problem.  So I put that jumper on. Now I think there is a key chip I need to use. I have not done that yet, did not think I was far enough along for that.

The quick way is to look for button lights. I noticed your setup only has one IO card installed. So if you hit the white test switch located on the logic and the buttons work and some light up then the IO card has power going to it.

Sorry I should have specified, you only had one door IO. It seems to me that there is a problem with the card on the door, it controls the coin mech and the door buttons. Them not working is just confirmation that the problem does not stem from the cc. Did you do that test with the cc connected or with your jumper? I am not sure that it matters but I would try it both ways.

If you have no success with or without it connected then the next step is to check the harness, unless you happen to have a spare IO card to try?
