Next problem ... (yes, I'm already moving on from Blazing 7's) ...

I got a new game "Soap Opera" (CD-ROM and EPROM) for the Bally EVO Blazing 7's (from Rudy's Deals).

I swapped out the CD-ROM and EPROM with the ones that are already there.

After turning on machine, the machine starts the boot sequence (checks low ram, hi ram)
and then when it gets to checking CD-ROM, the message, "FAILED" displays
and it won't go any further.

No scratches on CD.  Is the CD bad?  Or did I do something wrong?

So, I put everything back and put the new EPROM in slot # 1.
Turned on machine and tried to enable the game.
In the Configuration menu for Enable/Disable Games, that slot shows an error ... something like ... "No Deck".

What's up with that? Scratch Head
