Ok on the final stages of my back lit reel install.  Where does that last wire harness plug into? is it on the mother board next to the MPU? theres a open spot on it that it will fit ino but i dont want to guess and short the board out.  Any help much appreciated Smiley Also is there a certain way to line the reel strips up? and what do you guys use to attach them end to end? Will 3M double side tape work?

Are you refering to the harness that goes from your backlight controller to the cabinet IO board?

Yup its a S2000 set up. I have the harness from the control board to the board that takes that long black plug. Theres one more that comes out the side of the back lit control board. Wondering where that goes.

Here's the breakdown.
The long black plug from the reel harness goes to matching plug on the mother board
The two plugs on the other end of the reel harness go to the back light control board
There's a seperate harness that goes from the back light control board to the handle end of the cabinet IO board mounted to the side of the MPU enclosure
And last but not least you have to track down the six pin molex that should be tied up in the wire harness above your back light control board and plug it in for power to the back light control board.

Once you get all that you should have working backlit reels yes

Reels strips generally go lowest to highest using the part numbers on the bottom edge of the strip. There'll be a notch on the side of the strip that matches a notch inside the channel of the reel to give you a starting point to wrap them around. 3m two-sided tape is what I use to hold them. In cases where the order of the symbols on the strips matches and this happens occassionally, then strip order is irrelevant
