Just curious, been working on Williams/United shuffles for a few years now, does anyone have an opinion on proper storage of a working machine.  Is it best to leave it with the pins up or down and the game reset prior to shutdown (start new game, then turn power off)?  Looking at the mechanisms, I could see advantages to both.  Seems every machine I get, there is specific problems with certain pins that are left up or down, and how the machines wheels were last left on shutdown, specifically the spring tensions on the mechs.

I’ve recently been hitting the start button and wasting a credit to reset the score, pins and scoring/players/frame/special game mechs/wheels prior to shutdown.  Please post any comments…
