IGT s2000

« on: November 10, 2012, 09:45:06 PM »

I have an IGT s2000 that prints a ticket when I "cash out" and then the credits go to 0. How do I just reset credits to 0 without pressing the cash out button and get that credit to 0. (a.k.a.  not wasting a ticket print out) Thanks ahead of time for an easy answer!

You can rekey the machine to disable the printer and set the hopper limit to 0.  Then it will do an attendant hand pay for each payout where you just turn the attendant key after pressing cash out to reset the credits to 0

Gee, and I was thinking of just continuing to press MAX BET,
It is a slot machine and eventually you will loose all the credits.

Tickets are cheap...you need some? I will donate a pack for postage while you get your machine where you need it.

I had a similar problem, but didn't seem to let me do an Attendant Hand Pay, maybe I'm misunderstanding the settings or somehting.

It's a penny machine setup to accept quarters, with my Hopper Limit is set to $20, Credit Limit $50, Jackpot Limit $20, and Bill Credit to $10.

I hit a few times and I believe payout credits were over the $20 limit, I hit cash out, but I think the hopper didn't have enough in it to complete the pay out, cause I was just putting bills in it.

If I recall correctly, the machine locked up and had call attendant lit, tried turning th ekey and hitting the test button, couldn't figure out how to just clear it like a hand pay.

Finally I just keep putting the quarters back in and letting the hopper complete the payout.

Are you saying if I hit the "Cashout" button, then turn the key once, it would have cleared and acted like the attendant payed me cash?
