I have a 10x pay machine that is having backlit reel problems.  #1 reel only the top and bottom lights work,  #2 reel the top works, #3 all three work.  I tried changing reels and reel positions, they still work same.  I changed the controller from another machine still same problem.  Does anyone have any ideas?  Thanks

If the problem stays with the reel position and not the physical reel I'd change wiring harness's and/or cabinet IO board. If it stays with the reel, then change some bulbs

Thanks,  that was my last thought as I changed backlit board,  I will have to locate a set of wires.  Any ideas where I could find some extra wiring.

Place a WTB in the classifieds. Very common and not very expensive

Did you try putting the reels in the other machine  to see if the problem follows if it does your bulbs are burnt out. try swapping your bulbs around first before buying a harness

I finally pulled a harness out of another machine and it corrects the problem.  I cant really imagine what would go wrong with wires but that was the problem.  Thanks for your help.

Glad you figured it out
I would inspect that harness
might be a simple fix.
