Anybody have one or can rig one up for me to buy?  Meters are driving me nuts.  Can this be done on a Game King as well?

Thanks,
Jason

THis is how simple it is.

Unplug the harness at the meter, locate the black with orange wire and the brown with gray wire
Jumper the black/orange and the brown/gray wires.
They are next to each other in the harness if you look closely at the meter board it does the same thing.

Thanks gents.  As usual my slot bretheren save the day again.  So I went with Ron's photo per below.  I took a short wire and fed it into each end per his instruction and I leave the connector disconnected.  In Tilt's example, he cut the ends on the plug side and spliced the two bare ends together.  I'm assuming the cable would be plugged back in running Tilt's method where Ron's would be left disconnected.

Is the end result the same or is either method preferred?

Ron's way is running just fine btw.  Smiley

Thanks guys!

Jason

either way the machine thinks the meters are there.
IF you did it tilts way and plugged the board back in the meters will still function (no point in doing the bypass)

That is how the reel connected disconnected works. but there is a jumper on each reel
The machine displays reel disconnected as soon as reel is unplugged if on.
It does not state which reel

Thanks Foster, very helpful.  I just did this on my Game King too...worked great!  I guess this should have been posted in a technical forum...didn't realize it was so easy.

Will this bypass the I/O and clear a constant meter disconnect tilt if there is a problem with the I/O card?

This does NOT bypass IO card issues. If tje meters caused the IO card to go bad then this should prevent it from happening again though

Did this today. Made me nervous cutting wires, but did exactly what they described above and in the photo and the meter now is disabled. Nice not having to listen to all that clicking!
