Okay so, these are pretty random. But I figure that, if anyone can answer them, it'd be members on this forum.

I'd like to create a little bit of casino ambiance in my home. Would love it if someone could help me answer the following:

1. *What was the first IGT machine to feature IGT's now ubiquitous "credit" chime? (Example: 0:13, 0:17, 0:21 and so forth of this video: http://www.youtube.com/v/s_TLp394ToY&rel=0 )

2. *Did any IGT video poker machines use that same sound?

3. *Harder question: this is a video for the multiball mode in a Theatre of Magic pinball -> http://www.youtube.com/v/098ykOby3rY&rel=0
At 0:07, you hear the crescendo sound before multiball mode starts.

I'm pretty sure a modern IGT machine has a similar sound effect - probably longer (and louder). Anyone know which one?

Hi, seen no one replied to your post so I will try to answer as best I can.

First IGT machine to use that sound was probably the S. I can't remember offhand if it was a single ding or the same as your video. Your referring to the chime when a credit is played correct? Not reel spin sounds?

IGT Poker machines use a different sound table entirely. Simple dings for credits played.

No clue on what game would have a similiar sound to the roll-up of that pinball machine. It would be an I-Game or higher platform sound SIMM.

By the way, is that dice carpet?!?! Looks good.

Yes, that's right. Thank you for your response. When you say the "S", you mean the series of machines?

I thought that might be the case.

That at least narrows it down...

It does...but not mine. Smiley
