So I turned my old check mate machine into a "crystal Gus" machine for a trade show. The glass I got done at http://www.fractureme.com/ and it was $150 for both pcs with shipping. I do not work for them  but they did a good job. The glass is thinner than from IGT and the ink or backing is not as dark so the light does shine through a bit more but that is nit picking things a little. I made the file myself in adobe illustrator with their free trial.. What do you think? I made everything from scratch, the crowns, bars, cherries, etc. My first time using illustrator program

I got my coins made in China. Made of an iron base with antique silver finish. Same diameter at quarter but twice as thick! Boy was I surprised after paying $350 for 700 pcs delivered that it did not fit in the coin head, because of thickness  Silly Me!   I was able to fix that with a small washer in between the 2 coin head pcs. After some adjusting I was able to make the machine take it and give credits. The machine ejects them out on cash out without problem (wow is that loud with 300 iron plunks).

Any questions??

And here is the back of the coin. I think the coins look great but i can already see some wear on the finish after a few times through the machine. They are not gonna stay that nice, so I`m gonna use them as promo pcs for my company.

Thanks, but the reel strips I did not touch. They still have the chess pieces on them from the check mate game.
