 angry-kitty Just a thought...

Two cents worth isn't what it used to be no  Seriously though, I've had a lot of luck with titanium drill bits for the side lock and the front cashbox cover was pretty easy after that

Two of the payphones I've purchased were locked including the coin box and the housing, I rigged the housing to unlock/lock with a blade screwdriver.

I drilled out the coin box (WARNING! Eye Protection!!!) and rigged it so a blade screwdriver could "lock" the coin box, just enough to keep it on the payphone,

You can check ebay and see if you can find a coin door w/lock and key and you could sell them for home use or even business/shop use.

Do you know off hand what model phones you purchased? Western Electric, Protel, etc.?
