Your machine is probably programmed at a $10 per credit machine.  You need to try to program it as a 25 cent machine or whatever coin you want.  Follwow the ITG S+ programming procedure.  Its in the S+ manual available in the download section of this site.

BTW- If you set it to 5 cents per credit you will get 20 credits for a buck- what a deal  :-)
