I started this new thread so I can stress how odd this issue is to me. Half the sounds are again missing although game play seems to be okay. I was also getting pixelized graphics on the screen before I decided to turn the game off. I have since turned it back on and the screen looks fine but the sound issues are still there.
I've unpluged every connector and used contact cleaner with no change. I do not believe it is related to a specific game chip as the issue spans multiple games and I didn't change anything on the board when the issue arose.
If this is a power supply issue, it hasn't been tested yet due to my lack of electrical knowledge but with the pixelized graphics, I'm leaning that way. Does this sound logical?  Scratch Head
Hope someone has an idea.
Thanks, Jim

The only thing I can suggest is to check dipswitch bank 2 and make sure the 2nd dip is off, this is for Deluxe sound and it could cause a problem.

Thanks for the suggestion, Jim

I pulled my PS out and found it is using a Phihong model psa-4031 universal PS.
Here is a link to the stat sheet:ftp://ftp.jameco.com/Archive/Current-TechDocuments/189536.pdf
Copy and paste the link starting with the first ftp. This web site kept adding http// even though the link doesn't use that. I know it's confusing. Sorry.
Should it have a different PS or is this okay?
Should it be using the replacement for Bally (80-1178-00) or does it matter? I've been using this PS for about 4 years now and had no real issues until now which I haven't determined to be the PS for sure.
Thanks, Jim
