CDS Progressive Meter Connection

Does anyone know the correct way to connect the circut board on a large overhead CDS progressive display ?  The display leds power up and display the message "Link Down, Call Attendant" The CDS progressive controller has a three wire meter connection that appears to feed the progressive display, but it's missing the plug connector body that goes to the accelerator board. There are also several two and three wire unused connectors at the power supply unit that is under the accelerator board.

I received some info a while back while I was trying very hard to get it going.
The main problem I had was trying to reset to counter to zero.
I never succeeded.
Maybe you'll get lucky...I warn you though...it's not easy reading.
I have attached the info I have on this progressive setup.

Thanks for the info. It looks like the grey three wire cable from the controller meter port connects to J10 (RS232) at the accelerator board. Can you confirm which pins the three wires connect to ?  Also, are the RS485 in and out ports on the accelerator board used for anything ?

I noticed that certain software is needed for the controller to reset the display.
You'll see it in the attachment.
Please, if anyone who has worked for CDS, please send us a copy!!!!HELP!!!!


ADD>> I hooked the controller up to my computer and was able to "READ" the controller but wasn't able to reset the display.
The display works fine but I cant get it to go back to zero.
I will try to upload a short film clip After I hook it up.

It's kinda frankenstein-ish looking but it works! 
Wish I had more time to get a better clip...
but I was trying to show diamondback how the CDS is hooked up to an S+'s motherboard really.

ADD>>>notice how I rigged up a switch for the "door" optics.
There's an auto -play switch I made , attached to the handle of the hopper.
the hopper is modified to fool the coin optics into thinking it's paying out coins.
That's done with the bowl removed and a plastic pinwheel that has 24 cut-outs.
Each rev of the pinwheel equals 24 credits.

I'm impressed with the clip. Take a look at the photo of my CDS board. It's not the same as yours. On my CDS board there is not a connector for progressive. The open plugs are  RS485 in (J8)  & RS485 out (J9).&  RS232 (J10). Any ideas ? I don't want to smoke anything.

I think mine is a 1998 board while yours is a 1997 model.
Did you power it up yet?
When you do, the little red LED next to J8 should come on.
The connector for the progressive should be a pigtail from the Prosolo controller box I believe.
They must have put on/added  a "progressive" connector in 1998.
The two green LED lights are "recieve" while the two amber leds are for "Transmit" on the RS485's "In & Out" jacks.
I see the orange LEDs are marked WDM and WDA...I dont know what those are for.
