My IGT Wild Cherry Slot is working ok, but has a buzz all the time, except when the reels are turning.   It sounds like the buzz is coming from the coin comparator or the reels.   It also stops when I open the front door.  Any ideas?   Kevin

Do you think the Belly Glass may be loose?

I think Munch means to open the belly glass door and see if you  still have the noise.  Just a guess, check the coin diverter solenode right below the comparator, it's OK to unplug it as it really isn't used for home use.

When I open the belly door the buzz goes away,  is there a way to activate the contact switch after the door is opened?

Your cherry switch must still be hooked up. Your upper left side, push on the button like a door bell.

I don't see a switch on the Left hand side,  I do see a switch on the right hand side (But it has no wires running to it)   I also see a small brass contact on the door and the cabinet with wires attached, I assume it is some type of contact switch.

There's a cherry switch for the belly door in the upper left corner of the belly door opening. With the belly door open, push that switch in and you should better be able to locate the source of the noise. Be sure to do this with the main door shut. Buzz is likely right that it is your coin diverter solenoid.

Thanks,  I see what you are talking about,  I didn't know the belly glass opened up.  It is the Coin Comparator...

I have the same problem you did,  when I put 3 coins in it stopped buzzing.  Where did you get your CC from?   thanks Kevin
