i have tried just about all I know and am looking for some advice

have a cats and dogs 3 coin ss4935 sp 1048 chip combo, machine has a DBV 200 head in it.  I just recently replaced the board on the bottom of the head with an upgraded flash rom to accept new bills.  Prior to sending off, I got it to accept an old dollar a time or two.

It cycles correctly, pulls the bill in and holds for a few secs and then spits out.  Talked to the guy who flashed for me and he said to try dip 10 on the bottom to see if ID 22 works no change.

Tonight I borrowed a friends transport, head, and cash box, no difference.  Think it has to be an dip setting on the bottom of the head or the head is not compatible with the ECM board.  ECM board does have the volume control on it and the dip switches.  hope I have given enough info.    Any other suggestions?  Thanks in advance.  RD
