I have an s+ with a DBV200.  I can get it to take at most 2 bills.  After that is takes in the bill, the motor pulses back and forth, and it disables until I power the slot down and back up, at which point the last bill inserted is spit out.

Game PROM SP1274, ID023.  Validator is DBV-200-B023.  Dip switches 7-10 off.

Any suggestions?

Loosen the 2 thumb screws holding the bvd in. The red lever on the left should be in the up position so that the back of the validator rests in a down position. Once screws are loosened lowere and raise the red lever a couple times to seat it good, then tighten the 2 screws. Validator has to mesh good with cash can.
