Hello All...

I've been searching up and down the forums about topics about the progressive units. I have a s2000 triple red hot 777 5 reel machine..its has the 9" glass up top and has the ticket printer right below to the left. What my question is, is can I add a progressive setup to this machine when it was made without it? And if I can, I believe I've seen the display in which fills the plate to the right of the ticket printer below the top glass? If anyone has any parts numbers that would be great...if this is available that is...Thanks!

Should not be  a problem.  Several of us here have made this modification.
You will have to cut the player tracking ft and back bar to match.  I used a ChamIII display,
with ChamII board etc...

Or you can use a Spectrum display. Most S2000's have the hook-ups in the top box already, so no extra driver board and your setup is though the S2000 menu.

I have found the spectrum mini. Will this display fit where the player tracking is? So i can still keep the ticket printer in there? The place i found for these but doesn't list dimensions....

And when you say the hook up is already in the top box for the spectrum...will i still need to get a harness for the display in order to plug it in the top box?

Thanks guys!

Heres a pic of inside the cabinet (attached). Whats the board to the right for? I believe the one in the middle is the netplex distribution right?

Hi,

Check out this thread for some details when I installed my Spectrum into my S2000.  I also installed it physically in the player tracking area but did not have a printer installed there, so it is a little different.

Yea, I've looked at your thread a few times now. Looks real nice.  applause but I need to keep my printer where it is, so I emailed a place that carrys the spectrum mini's and awaiting the length measurement's of them...if it fits I plan on making a new plate....if not...I might make a custom topper....
