How do you get the small buttons out of a 5500?  I was able to remove the larger buttons by unscrewing the plastic nut but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the small guys.   Scratch Head

I don't think so.  It appears to be a square plastic molded piece on the backside of the switch.   The larger buttons had a regular plastic nut on it.

I may be wrong if that square piece is a nut.   I tried to loosen but didn't want to force anything.

I found the nut!   I didn't notice it because the nut comes flush with the bottom of the switch.   I was able to remove them without even using a tool.

thanks

Now to find out how to remove the BV and cash can.

Great Wayne!  I was thinking about that this morning  - will you paint that with high gloss silver paint?

It's plating, what do you think? There are companiies that will do everthing from car bumpers down to small gun parts. Here is a link to a thread on the discussion and a link to a home electroplating kit, but commercial dip plating is much more durable for like a slot door.
