Any more details on the DCU based unit, do you have any pictures, does it have a serial plate?  We used them to run Mystery Links here and they have spread about.

PGIC ===Progessive Gamining International Corporation
This is what Mikohn became after they sold off a bunch of assets to stay alive... I think the other 1/2 was sold off under the aspice of Mikohn Gaming corporation.
Neither exist any more.

As noted pics will certainly help.

I was at the meetings when they (the "Smartest Men" in the room) were introducing PGIC in Oz and they actually thought that they could sell Pokies here, it's a very tough and inovative market.  We were all stunned, the weakest manufacturer here had better machines, Universal had gone belly up 3 times by then (sorry, recapitalised).  Mikohn had a solid product with CasinoLink but gave away the non-system Links business to Paltronics who leveraged it to grab market not only here but also Macau.
Just let it slide while playing silly games. I managed to develop a "High Definition" LED panel for Statewide Links (60x16 leds, 283x75mm) that plugged onto the Supreme to replace the 12cell in the top box, a 2x1 made a great in-machine Tablet with 4 jackpots and animation.   Sold a couple of pallets to Aristocrat.  I use a 2x3 as the workroom display.

The Mystery manual.  The latest firmware is v45 for the dcu and v3.0 for the boards, a nice stable system.
