error code 71

Bally s6000 4 reel slot machine - how do you clear a 71 error?  I've tried to open and close door several times, I've also turned reset key with door open (this usually clears reel errors on igt's).

Hi Bob,
   press the test button until 05 d is in win paid and hold the change button.  This re-initialises the reels.  If this doesn't work, clean the reel optics and try again, if not then do a clear.

I should have asked if you opened the door and pressed the reset button then closed the door?

Normally this code should clear itself when you close the door (after about 10 seconds), the 71 is when the 1st reel has been moved by hand.  Are there any other error codes on it?

thanks Wayne, pressing the the test button took care of it.  I guess the test button on the Bally 6000 does the same thing as the re-set key on the IGT S2000.
