Hi,

Machine: S 2000

It used to have problems with the main door otics until I had a door-open message.  Now, the door is open, I mean really wide open and it is as it were closed because I can play. If I open the belly glass, it still works.  ????

When i turn the machine off then on again, it shows door open but a couple of minutes later, everything flashes then it works again even if the door is open.

Any idea???

Thank you.

sounds like a short.  could be the wiring but since you mentioned that the belly door doesn't show open either - there is a switch there right? - i would look at motherboard and mpu.  could be a board level short that is closing the circuit.  wouldnt hurt to swap I/O cards with another game either.
