I'm working on a Bally 17 inch gamemaker. Have a problem with slight vertical shake in the picture. Tried to make numerous adjustments in the top switch panel with negative results. Any ideas without installing a new LCD ? thanks Mike.

This is common problem ususally caused either by a cap or / resistor / IC going bad.

Usually caps, but the shake can be something more on the ballys just from exp.

Slotmaster thanks for the info. Might just spend the 6 bills and get the upgrade from Happ for the LCD. I just got the machine at a dirt cheap price and its super clean.

I'm glad to hear you picked it up Mike.  Sounds like you're just looking for an excuse to upgrade it to an lcd.

Thanks,
Wayne
