Hi guys,have a problem I was wondering if someone can help me with.

I have GK software(Base 0000531,GME1 and 2 0002955)that works fine in my 3902 board.
I just bought a used 3802 and installed the same chips in it.It comes up with"no imput"on the screen.The two green LED's are the only ones lit on the board.
Do you think the board is bad or this version of software wont run in a 3802 board?

Thanks in advance.

3802 is a COMPLETELY differant animal.....
In my 3802 I have the following chipset....

Base = 526
PXL1 = 351
PXL2 = 351
GME1 = 1775
GME2 = 1775
  CG1 = 351
  CG2 = 351
SND1 = SWC0030
SND2 = SCW0030

Hope this helps....

Thanks Kirk.

Guess my options are to either buy GK chips for the 3802 or to buy another 3902 for the GK chips I have.

What are your CG and PIXEL chip #'s? I will look in my DOC library to see if I have anything on them? Also if you have old GMEs to try for the heck of it??

Another thing to look at if someone on here can help......  Help Help Help

I have heard that some of the 3802 boards have less ram on them than needed, and you need to upgrade the ram chips, and make a small modiification on the board under the chips to make them work properly. Anyone ever heard this and can confirm in detail about this modification???

I have a couple of boards that I would like to do this with, so maybe someone here can help a few people out with a post of past knowledge!!!

I think that once on one of the boards it gave me an error that it did not have enough ram or something like that on the screen?? CRS here! arrow

That version works on the 3802 board.

So either you have a bad board or the digitial monitor you have (LCD or CRT) does not work with the 3802 video chipset.   I have only seen that the screen was the issue a few times so check the board first.    I am guessing Digital monitor as you said it says "no imput"

I am not sure about the GME1 and 2 chips as I have used older versions but I do not think that would be the issue.

Thanks for the info Slotmaster,I'm guessing its because of the digital LCD too.

I'll have to try the board in a older Game king to see if it works.

If it makes any difference, I can confirm that Laneman has a 25-pin version I-game versus the 19-pin.
