Please could you help me with the following topic.

What is the reason why a bill acceptor will not charge anymore ?? It used to work and slowly in time it got slower to the point it will not turn over anymore.

For what you say about slowing down it could be one of the electric motors inside the transport....   I would check the transport motor first, then the stack motor. 

If the slowing down process was very quick you could see if there is something blocking the transport belts...  are they in normal position???  sometimes they get off their proper position due to excessive use (need to be replaced)

The last one to check could be the plastic  timer stars attached to motor's axis... sometimes they get blocked with it's opto sensor
