Just an added note, last night when it was working I hit the bonus, and while it was paying off I hit a key to bypass the payoff sounds and hit the spin.  BOTH sounds ran at the same time till all the credits were paid.  Might have been a precursor of my current problem.  Will look for the junper you mentioned.  Can't check the Display till tomorrow.

 thanks

I didn't find a a 2 pin header labeled JU-1, but I did find a JP-1 and jumped that one, NOTHING happened. Scratch Head

On the back of the topbox display is a 4 pin square connector. Audio from the MPU comes in there and is added to the sounds that the top box makes (usually the bonus round). It IS possible for both to make sounds at the same time....
The topbox is a MSDOS (Windows 3.1) embedded machine. Once you install the JP-1 jumper you will see it bootup....

This is what your display will look like, except it wont be blurry.
Was dark in the gameroom and camera cant deal with that.

You will see the RAM check and POST like a Windows 3.1 DOS machine

That is some fantastic information, I can see everyone frantically looking for a jumper to try that out.  I taped a jumper to a sizzle stick and it plugged right in. But since my display is jacked I didn't see a thing.

Hey guys, how is everyone? I havent been back since u guys helped me with my dead battery issue from page 1 of this old post that Kirk and...shoot forgot his name while im typing this second ,but hes in this topic Duh!  anyway u guys were right. I finally got around to replacing the battery and everythng came up normal except the bill validator. now its giving me "bill validator stacker issue'' I can bypass it and the slot works fne but the bill validator wont work. it must have had something to do with replacing the battery cause it all worked fine before I replaced it. again I im talking about nvision fox n hound machine. so what can I do to make it work again? I pulled bill box out and inspected everythng but it all looks just fine. must have lost some memory for validator when I replaced battery. Kirk or anyone else can u rescue me one more time?  Hail  thx again my NLG bro's.  applause  Tim

Just a guess on my part, but I get that "stacker issue'' all the time when I forget to seat the cash can all the way in.
Check the can, maybe its full.  That would be nice.

Try toggling your way through the menu to I/O Test....find "net plex config" and run it by pressing the Spin button.
