Keeping the years down is hard, but staying young

« on: May 09, 2010, 11:05:04 AM »

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me with this strange problem. I have a cashline machine that lost all the progressive settings and when I ram cleared the machine and started the Hardware and Progressive settings again, the machine would flash green on the screen and restart right in the middle of the upload of the progressive settings. I have swapped boards, main, graphics, comms, button, backplain, sound and power supply. after each board replacement, I found the machine still doing the same. Now after the last board (Backplain) I have swapped I find the machine restarting on bootup with a green flash on the monitor. The Power LED on the main board flashes on and off. When i disconnect the button board the machine boots up but still reboots after about 20 seconds.
Any Ideas will be appreciated.
