did a ram clear with  the chips and got a code 24? this is driving me nuts.any help would be great.

I dunno, try another ram clear perhaps?
Can't hurt really....just might clear it!
Why'd you do a clear in the first place?

i had a error code 21 so i cleared the machine. this makes it number 2 machine down today.

Well, that's 2 error codes pointing towards the coin acceptor area...
I'd start looking into that...swap that area with known good parts and run one more clear.
Shouldn't it just clear by opening and closing the door fully?
You have door optics in there? Perhaps a bad cherry switch?

Agree with Post  At this point is certainly appears to be a hardware problem.
