3200 is a jammed hopper.  Are there coins jammed in the hopper preventing it from turning?  Can you turn it by hand (with the hopper out of the machine, gently pull the brake back and then try to rotate the hopper wheel by hand)?  Do you have another known-working hopper you can put in the machine to see if the problem follows the hopper or stays with the machine?

If the error persists after ensuring that the hopper is functioning properly and/or you have found the root cause, you can perform a clear with a clear chip to remove the error. However, you will have to set up all of your options again (hissy fit) and use the set chip to reactivate the dbv. This should not be necessary in most cases; the error should clear once the cause is eliminated.

The hopper was clear and seemed to function properly but the machine stopped on a bar 7 Bar and paid out 3 coins on a 3 coin 5xpay game then went into 3200 error every time we try to clear the error and close the door it pays out a few more coins.

Hi There

If your hopper is energizing and turning then the processor output and SSR are Ok. The problem is that your machine is not seeing pulses coming from the hopper optic (To confirm does it count down the coins it paid out before tilting ?) This can happen if you use tokens that are to small for your hopper (Optic does not get interrupted) or a faulty optic.

The vendors at the top of the page should be able to provide one of these. Alternatively you can do a complete clear and set hopper limit to zero and key off any winnings when cashout pressed.

If you can get into the self test mode the hopper test (#3) would confirm the hopper coin counter is working also.
