Hello again, Well I switched out the boards and now the hopper problem is gone,
But now the machine keeps telling me that the machine door is open? (Doors are closed)
Everything else seems ok, The reels spin, The game seems ready to play, then the door error comes up.
There are only two switches right?  Scratch Head

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks everyone!!

Yes Jim, I think if you look on the inside door, near the front switch, you'll find that there might be a wire loose or pulled away from the connection. If you ground this wire(black w/green) to the hopper, it should work. However, you can't close the door, as this puts the machine in a "door open" mode again. Just play the machine with the door open & I think you'll find that you can hit all kinds of jackpots & bonus spins. P.S. To other members, Jim & I worked on this machine and the above really was a temporary solution. If anybody out there has a real fix, please let Jim know. I just couldn't help but pull his chain on this one. Strange situation though, got us scratchin' our heads. Scratch Head Scratch Head Scratch Head

Thanks for the help 89 Chevyman! K+...(I got more you can help me with  Tongue Out )

After checking the switch wiring on some other machines, I discovered that the
switch was wired wrong. So it showed that the game was open, When it was
actually closed.
Also, It looks like the little door that goes up to cover the board, over time must have
been hitting the wires when it folds down and just misses the door (its in a bad spot)
and pulled the green/blk & green pin out of the plug for the lower cherry switch.

So after the two fixes, The door now says it's closed when it is closed!   applause

Hopefully this will help somone down the road!

Thanks everyone!!        Jim....   waving flag
