The mikhon is set for stand alone.

It would help me if someone posted all the messages you get while the unit rebbots to compare to what shows in mine.

Another thing, the jackpot goes back to zero when I turn the unit on but the day and date are kept in memory. Shouldn't all the datas dispappeared if the battery was dead?

Do you have a ChamII or a ChamII+ board?
Can you take a good clear ( means "unblurry") photograph of the board
and post it up so we can be sure ?

Remember..."The more you show us - the more more we will show you".

Well, we got a picture or something.... rotflmao
The ONLY thing I know for sure is that it IS a progressive board.

What does it say on the white label I've highlighted?
That should tell us EXACTLY what that board IS.

I suspected it was a Cham II+ but the Cham II and II+ look similar in blurry pictures.

Foster uploaded a manual for you.
Others have uploaded sheets for all the error codes.
You have a bunch of reading to do...

There are many threads devoted to the setting up of Mikohns and
all the different problems they've had and how they solved them.
Below is a link to the forum containing all those threads.>>>

http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?board=26.0

Mikohn progressive boards are pretty old technology and
are still in use today in casinos throughout the world.
Once, you figure out how to get past the errors in configuration set-ups,
your display sign should last a long time.
But first you need to educate yourself on how these work and how to set them up.
Too many times we will give you information that you don't quite yet understand.

I remember when I first got a Mikohn, I read thread after thread after
thread until I understood what makes these puppies tick!
I attribute a lot of what I've learned about these Mikohns through help from members and reading
tons of information on it available right at your fingertips here on newlifegames!
Patience is the key and understanding that you will NOT learn how to set these up - overnight...

Hi,

I took time to read the manual properly. I studied the menus and changed a few options. The unit which wouldn't take any datas finally accepted the signal. Great.  I would like to know if it is usual to get a c10 when I plug it again a day after. The current jackpot was still registered.

Thanks

No, It's NOT usual to keep getting that message just because you've turned it off.
I'm not sure why but sometimes they do this and I suspect that
something is going bad perhaps with memory retention of the Ram.
It seems to NEED to be hooked up at all times or you get the [C10] message.

Have you tried swapping the boards with the displays?
See if you can stop getting the [C10] with one setup?
For some reason, the board saves the progressive amount values but
neglects to save your settings.
I'm thinking that you may be missing a step when saving them?
Does the manual say anything about saving settings?

Cyril,

Here is a Mikohn chamII+ on startup Bally 6000
I like to use the flip18 and MFILE4 for dazzle
and yes I know the date is wrong and it even has older software @1.61
