This is my first post so please take it easy on me.
I have an IGT AVP 3.0 running with sas and am trying to clear 2 messages on the screen. The messages are;
1) Terminal disabled by host.
2) Validation buffer full.
I have enabled the game within the sas system but to no avail.
Do you guys know how I can clear the 'validation buffer full' error?
Thanks,
Nigel

Welcome to the site!

 NLG Welcome

Not a lot of us have access to AVP machines.  You may get a better response if you post over on http://www.SlotTechForum.com/ -- that site has more active casino techs (our site is more geared towards home users, although some active techs post here, too).

Best of luck, and please let us know what the solution was once you figure it out!  yes

What cabinet is it?

Your machine is not talking to your system. Verify all SAS settings and check the harness from your system to your machine.
Also check the comms IF card relevant to what you are using.

The machine is a 96499203 19" Trimline AVP Upright. The sas cable is the fibre optic to RS232 which is good as I have tried it on another machine. I have a feeling that there is some setting hiding on the sas that is the culprit.

i think TZtech is more interested in the 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 version of brainbox.  i remember reading a post on the slot tech forum about the comm port settings and i'm sure the ports can go bad  loser maybe try a different port just to eliminate the possibility.  yes good luck!!  propeller

you get those messages when the machine is not receiveing the poll from your host.

once the buffer is full and host is not reading them the machines will disable. (my igames do the same thing, but only show disabled by host) when i turn off my host and then try to play a few games
