Hello

I'm new at programing a IGT 2000.  I have a S2000 built in 2002 with a 75510502  Processor board, stepper chip SB100227, Game chips SG000362 with a version chip of VS011GX1.

The machine worked before i started going through the programing setup.  I was trying another processor board and game. I used the key reset.  now i get a message  of WAMM or IPC.  Iwent into 7.1 key chip setup.  WAMM-IPC setup 7.1.4.1 WAMM-IPC version and Get Version UNKOWN.

My question is: Do I need to install the key chip to make changes to version?  If so, is the correct key chip 45?

Thanks

You need to pick WAMM in 7.1.4

I would get a set of SG000363 or 598 You wont have to worry about picking WAMM or IPC again
if you have  key 31 use it, otherwise the 45 will do.

Still having problems when using the key 45. I ordered a IVC00097 clear chip.  I also took your sugestion and ordered a set of SG000363 chips. I will eventually get a KEY 31 Chip.   Is there any difference between the SG000362 and SG000363 chip set?

Thanks again for the help

When I used the 362 these are the things that I hated:
1: Every time I changed the game I had to use a key chip and configure my progressive.
2: If a clear was done had to pick WAMM in 7.1.4

Installed the 363 never have to fix either one when I change a game.

I hope I never have to clear my machine again. I have to go through every part of 7.1, 7.2, and 7.3.1, 7.3.3, the only key menu I do not check or change is 7.3.2

Here is the SG000363 PSR

There are some SB chips (themes) that require specific SG chips.
If the theme is a general theme: Double Diamond, Red White & Blue, Haywire, etc) 363 or 598 will do just fine.
