machine wouldnt go out of service on its own you must of played with the settings you need to press the test button and go to out of service mode and play with the settings ......if that dont resolve it you have a bigger problem with the mpu board....

OUCH! M.P.U. Board? I appreciate your help, preparing now for my wife to filet me like a fish for tampering with her beloved Little Green Men. Any more help would be greatly appreciated or maybe a call to a slot doctor? Thanks Again!

I was changing the settings & accidently selected to choose "Machine Out of Service" Now after pressing the test button for 3 seconds nothing happens in (8 SETUPS & INFO) or (6 OUT OF SERVICE MODE) with door open. After closing door it says (Restart, Machine is Out Of Service, Closure M) Thanks again for coming back to take a look! Bill

okay you need to go into settings by holding the test button for a sec... then go to number6 out of service then click the center bottun on your machine mine is the spin button to get into out of service options then on the left you will see your buttons lite up those change the settings.... use them to switch the setting..... now this is important once you change the settings with those left bottons you must click the  bet max bottun or on my machine its play 3 credit button all the way to the right to store that setting.... otherwise it wont store the change....then close the door and you should be good.....

1) Pressed test button for a sec.
2) Change, Cash Out & Spin Reels light up
3) Using Change to scroll to 6 Out of Service Mode
4) Click on Spin Reels & display reads Machine Out of Service (Change Light goes out with other two remaining on)
5) Clicking on Cash Out or Change and nothing happens
6) Can only click Credit button to exit

You have done everything right up to step your 5.  when you get to your step 5 press cash out your display will change to Machine In Service NOW press Max bet button ( yours may say play 2 or play 3 ) ( it's the button on the very  right hand side )  the display will still say Machine Out Of Service UNTILL you close the door.

If what people have told you does not work, one rarer possibility can be that one of your buttons has come loose in the button socket and the microswitch is not connecting. Make sure that the button switches are all seated fully and operating properly. Just another thought, but I think you should be fine if you follow everyone's steps above.

We are making progress Staz, Buzz & Captain Harry. The microswitch on Cash Out was not working properly.
1) The game is back in service and my wife is considering sparing my life.
2) NEW ISSUES:
a) In test, I cannot enter ( 8 Set Ups & Info.)
b) No audio, ( entered 3 Options: 3.2 Sound Options, 3.2.1 Volume, 3.2.4 Mechanical Bell)
c) Monitor not working (originally this was the reason I experimented with the test button hoping there was a solution to my problem, but accidently took the machine out of service.
I want to thank you all for getting me this far but hopefully you can be patient and get me to 100% operational.
Thanks Again,
Bill

Once you get to 3.2.1  press spin button and you will be in 3.2.1.1 this is where you set the volume  cash out increases volume, change button deceases volume. Max Bet saves settings. You are going to have to repair the cash out button before you will be able to increase the volume. Most times the only thing wrong is. the bottom of the switch has slipped down, and needs reseated in the button.

I've never been in a #8 Set Ups & Info so can't help you there. I can't help with the monitor either, sorry !!!!

Welcome to NLG Doberman and K+ for making me laugh.  yes wave

It looks like you've got plenty of help from Staz, Buzz, and, uh,  CaptainHappy Worried "Harry" -- or is it Hairy. Crazy frying pan

Do you still have credits on the machine? Some settings cannot be changed while there are credits, and the Setup and Info menu might be among them.
