Really cool Ascot Horse Racing machine I saw!!!

I saw this  Royal Ascot game last Saturday afternoon when I went up to Montreal.
Reho33 sent me the link to this really cool machine!
It takes up a balcony of De Casino and the area it was located in
was extremely beautiful in the way it was set up.

They had these "stations" set up all round the racing table.
Even the horse gates was mechanically driven into place and
the horses went into it anticipating the start!
I think every horse track around the country should have one!

They had one like that or very similar to it by the buffet at Circus Circus in Vegas back in the late '80s. Neat machine

Very nice machine but very sensitive for power fluctuations and dust. In one of the game rooms we run we have one like this but about 18 years ago I allready worked on them but with the fixed 12 stations around it. This model can take up to 23 stations at the time. The small robots under the layout are real pieces of art and technology. The cabinet itself is not so high-tech as it looks.

Still a very funny game to play.

I forgot to mention that the sound of the horses running is following the horses them selves so there are four speakers and the volume changes all around the track

And projectors. I guess it never really caught on in the US but I believe a number of European casinos have them. The one that I saw that had the fixed stations was up for 48,000 dollars..............
