Happiness in life is a great dog

« on: November 16, 2010, 04:32:23 PM »

Hi All, I picked up a set of boards off EBAY and the Enhanced MPU board doesn't have a battery in the holder. This would be the quarter size one that's usually a 3v on a 502 or 504 board. The holder looks like it either uses a double stack or single thicker battery. Can anyone tell me what it's suppose to be? Thanks in advance for the help applause

These are the specs between the 2 batteries mention in this thread.
Click to enlarge if you wish to...
The CR2450 is just a touch wider but thinner and is rated at
about 60 mAH more than the CR2354 with a wider temperature range.
Good find!  But does it fit? Clap >>>

It's like a millimeter(maybe 1 1/2) to wide is the problem. no I'll pick up a couple 2354's, just want to get my boards swapped and make sure the slot gods will let it work Dancing Party

I used the 2354 and a new battery holder that fits it when I replace a dead battery in my 502 to 504 boards.

That"s a good idea applause I was gonna use holders I scrapped off old computer CPU's. The batteries are thinner on these, but I can get them at Radio Shack for like $1 ea because my brother-in-law owns it. The 2354's are web order only at $6 plus shipping and no discount
