I had the battery replaced on my igt and now it dumps at 300 credits, how do I set it to a higher number?  did a ram reset on my universal and now it has the same problem. Can anyone tell me what the procedure is?  thanks

I take it your Universal is an Ultra Series Universal with the 94014 board.
With the Ultra; Press green test button 13 times. Press Spin button to increment. Highest amount is 2500 credits.
If the display is flashing than it is set by dip switch. (which means it was already set at 300)

If it is an older Uni (8116 or 8800 board) than it is set by dip switch and a RAM clear would not affect it.
Most games have dips 1,2,3 set to ON on the sub-board at location 1A for 2500 credits on the older Uni's.

You'll need to provide some more information than that -- IGT made more than one kind of machine.

Please find the appropriate board for your machine and create a new post there, with details of the type of machine and what chip numbers are in it, and someone will be happy to help you.

hi, Jim.anyway you can tell me how to set my super stars and strips,to 400 credits back? I must have mabe moved a dipswitch setting.It is now at 1000,and is flashing,with no table in the credit,Thanks Charley.Please send to my email chaser5444@hotmail.com

Sorry I didn't respond to your earlier email, I've been on vacation in Vegas & Laughlin with my daughter & son-in-law.  yes

For the Uni Ultra Series slot machine the credit limit can be set on the eight dips on DIP SW1. The first two dips are used for credit limits.

  1            2
OFF         OFF        Partial pay 400
ON          OFF        Partial pay 600
OFF          ON        Partial pay 1000
ON           ON        Partial pay selected by TEST button using test #13 (must be no credits on the machine when using test #13)

Sounds like dip #2 is ON in your machine. But make sure when you run test #13 that there are no credits on the machine. It won't work with credits on the machine.


Also, best if you don't post your email address as spammers will be flooding your email !!!
