Just left a guys house whose machine keeps coming up with a low battery error.  After messing around with it for a few minutes the error cleared and we were able to play it with coins and bills.  Turned it off to replace some bulbs and I turned it back on the low battery warning was there again.  It never cleared before I left.

I have read a couple post that say to turn low battery warning off but setting SW2 post 7 to ON.  Will the machine work then or do I need to do some type ram clear?

Thanks
Bob

The machine will work just fine with the battery turned off.
I have a couple that have no battery at all and work fine.  No clear is required.

Yes, With the machine off, And no credits on machine, Set #7  on sw2  on.

Power up machine, The display will tell you a dip switch has been changed.  Turn the J/P key.

You should be good to go!!
