Hi, I've looked at many posts and found some that seem to relate to what I want but not with the same chip.
I know enough about slots to make me very, very dangerous, and was wondering if there are some guidelines for dummies when it comes to changing the settings?

First after looking around I noticed what you 'techs' most like to have is what kind of machine or chips it has.  I just got the machine from my brother a few days ago and it works perfectly as far as I can tell. I removed the board and took some pics, the Game Prom says it is a S-Plus Game (SP1145) and has a Reel Prom number of SS3635.  Currently it is set to only hold 1k of credits and would like to increase it as high as possible without changing chips.  Also I was wondering if and what type of changes can be made with the hopper settings, like possibly paying out certain amounts and adding credits to others?
I have tried to locate a manual without any success and since the machine works great now I really do not want to mess anything up.

I will try to attach a photo, and I forgot, the game is a Double Diamond showing a max payout of 2,500 coins now, the bill acceptor works fine with the older money which is fine for now.  My main concern is trying to reset something without any instructions to follow and mess it up.

Thanks in advance for any help

Also, there is a dip switch settings label on the game board cover however I can not find any dip switches, does this board have dip switches?  I re-checked the board again and the board it plugs into and failed to locate any.

from the picture you posted, it looks like a 16 mh board. the two holes where the volume pot would be located. most settings are done through a menu.

search the site for info on 16 Mega Hertz boards, should find all the info you are looking for.
