OK I'm back again, Got great help here on getting a Key for our Mag7. We are now going to try and get our Universal Stars and stripes up and running, we need a Coin Comparitor and a few other things.  Can someone tell me where I might find a Coin Comparitor.  Deb

If your Stars & Stripes uses the 8116 or 8800 board than it needs a CC16-D, 24volt. (no inhibit)
If you got the machine without the comparitor make sure you have the harness that plugs into the comparitor too.
Most of the vendors here should have one as they were very common.
They also show up on eBay from time to time.

All I could find on the board case was a sticker that has the following #'s on it
B8967-26B/CS  could be BB967-B/CS
8933-0007
8967-0003

Do I need to take the board out of the case to find the #.

Nope, you need the CC-16D as I stated above. If your machine was an Ultra Series you would need a CC-62.
Those numbers, 8933-0007 and 8967-0003 are eprom numbers. But the 8967 is not for Stars & Stripes. Your board must have originally had a different game. In this case 8967 is Double Jackpot. No big deal, see it a lot.
The 8933-0007 is the machine chip used for both Double Jackpot and Stars & Stripes. And these numbers tell me you have an 8116 board.
Stars & Stripes game eprom is 9051.
